Keeping Busy

After working in I.T. for over 20 years I’m now happily retired and keeping myself busy with photography, art and my beautiful Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel, who gets me out & about (whether I want to or not).
I belong to quite a few organisations such as Friends of the National Museum of Wales, South Wales Geology Association, u3a and W.I., Pentre’r Eglwys Art Society (PEAS), Art in the Park and Sketching in St. Fagans where I enjoy my watercolours, pastels and sketching.
I love photography and I have been participating in 52Frames since 2019 and it really gets me experimenting with my photography, I have even had an old camera converted to infrared.
My other interests include gardening but I now rely on my son to do all the heavy work. We have a greenhouse (lots of tomatoes this year), a fruit section with blueberries and gooseberries and lots of pots full of flowers and shrubs.
I used to sew a lot of my clothes but didn’t have the time when I was working full time but this year I have started again and I’m really enjoying it.
I’m always doing something (as long as it’s not housework) and I love learning new things.
